This is a classic Japanese barley shōchū from Ōita, made with vacuum/low-pressure distillation, which keeps the spirit light, clean, and aromatic rather than heavy or harsh. It sits around 24–25% ABV, so it drinks more like a delicate spirit than a heavy liquor.
