Celebrating the Chinese Year of the Dragon in 2024, namely the Wood Dragon, this rare limited edition of Rock Island blended Scotch whisky was finished in heavily charred ‘crocodile’ casks, a name given to the wood when it is so fiercely charred its texture is reminiscent of an alligator or crocodile’s skin. This marriage of single malts distilled on Orkney, Arran, Jura and Islay from Douglas Laing was bottled at 54.8% ABV with no colour added and no chill-filtration.

Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose : Experience ashy bonfire embers, grilled pineapple, and soft peat smoke on the nose.
Palate : Anticipate waves of sea-salt, caramelised sugar, and BBQ’d banana.
Finish : The finish has remnants of smoke with brown sugar, coconut, and salted caramel.
