London Dry Gin

London Dry Gin (also “London Gin”) is one of the most famous Gin categories, and the most regulated.

London Dry Gin does not have to come from London. But, it is characterized by a minimum alcohol content of 37.5%, the base alcohol must come from agricultural resources, and the botanicals and aromas have to be natural.

All ingredients have to be added at the very beginning of the distillation process and no additional flavours or colours are allowed.

Taste profile: 10 botanicals have been used since the first bottling in 1740. According to this, the taste is clear, citric and has an intense juniper flavor. Just as you would expect from a classic London Dry Gin.
