Our amplus merlot comes from our vineyards 1,000 meters up into the Andes Mountains, in Pirque, one of the best places in Chile to produce complex, unique red grapes. This is an elegant wine with an intense red color and fine, outstanding aromas of dried cherries, black fruits and spices mingled with notes of caramel and vanilla well rounded, fresh and balanced on the palate with smooth tannins.
Amplus is a latin word that means important, honorable and distinguished-all terms that describe the agriculutural and enological work done to ensure the best expression of this excellent terroir.
